Charles and several of his battalion were moved to Assisi on 12th July 1945. The map showing where they were originally buried has not yet been found. In many burial concentrations situations the report has not been published on line due to the chance of some harrowing details which may be upsetting. Unlike in WW1 where basically just an Army map reference is given.
